Clark County Jail cells get $10,000 renovation
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - The renovation project at the Clark County Jail, which is the first one to be completed in at least a decade, is set to be completed this fall.
The Clark County Building and Grounds department has been working on updating cells on all three floors, including painting, plumbing and electrical upgrades. Director Mike Swank said the cells were in dire need of a makeover, and that it was important to continue to keep it updated.
The jail was built in 1979, and the renovations cost about $10,000.
