Two local mothers are scheduled to appear in drug court Thursday after they were found passed out from apparent heroin overdoses with their infants inside the SUV.

Boynton Beach Police released body camera footage that showed their response to the scene.

In that video you can see one of the officers try to soothe the screaming babies, one and two months old, as they were strapped in their car seats.

“It’s okay, it’s okay,” the officer says softly while placing a pacifier inside the baby’s mouth.

You can also hear one of the paramedics tell the officer they administered Narcan, the overdose reversal drug.

Kristin O’Connor, 27, and June Schweinhart, 28, were charged with child neglect.

Police said the pair told them they became friends after spending time in the same drug treatment center.

The babies are now with family members and the Florida Department of Children and Families were notified.

The women are not allowed to have contact with one another and can only see their babies with another adult present.
