FAIRBORN -- About 40 Wright State students boarded a bus Tuesday afternoon headed for Detroit. The university is paying for a bus ride and tickets to Tuesday night's Horizon League Championship game at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, MI.

The Wright State Raiders will square off against Cleveland State in a nationally-televised game at 7 p.m. on ESPN. The winner punches its ticket to the NCAA tournament.

"We're making Wright State rowdy again," Wright State freshman Erik Austin said as he boarded the bus. "It's awesome that we get to go."

This is the fourth time in the last six years Wright State made it to the conference championship game, but the Raiders lost all of those previous games. They haven't played in the NCAA tournament since 2007.
