Car pulled from water in Springfield after driver goes into river
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - We're told the people who were inside a car that went into the water in Snyder Park in Springfield are out of the vehicle.
Authorities were called to the park Tuesday afternoon shortly after 1:00.
A witness tells FOX45's Kelly May the driver accelerated down an embankment and into the water. The witness also said the man did not look alert when medics pulled him from the car. Firefighters tell FOX45 the car floated 50 feet downstream after going down the embankment and into the water.
Firefighters say they called for Narcan, but at this point they're not sure if a medical emergency led to the crash. The man was taken to the hospital where we're told he's responding.
