Trooper helps stranded motorist get to job interview on time
DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper said he was just doing his job when he helped a stranded motorist get to a job interview on time.
A Facebook post by Justin Myers said that he was on his way to a job interview for a position he'd wanted since he was 18 when his tire blew out.
Lieutenant Mark Nichols said he stopped to talk to the man who was walking in the roadway, and after asking him some questions, he was able to get that man to his job interview on time.
"That's something that all law enforcement, it's kind of what we do," Lt. Nichols said. "It's not just all traffic stops and speeding tickets, and things like that. We're trained to assist motorists."
Myers said in his Facebook post that he did get the job.
