Tippecanoe School District officials invite parents for discussion about district safety
TIPP CITY, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) – Tippecanoe Schools are teaming up with police to increase school safety throughout the district.
Parents were to speak out about their concerns Monday night, bringing up any questions they may have about the current practices.
The district is looking at possibly adding shatter-resistant glass, classroom door barricades, emergency notification updates and extra off-duty police presence.
District officials are still taking parent feedback as they work to develop a comprehensive plan, and are set to make a formal announcement about changes in the coming months.
