KETTERING, Ohio (WRGT/WKEF)- The Dorothy Lane Market marked its 70th anniversary in the community on Saturday. Dorothy Lane Market kicked off the celebration by offering tons of free activities and food to the community.
Dorothy Lane employee and organizer of the anniversary celebration Fred Pfeiffer said the celebration is a way for the market to say thank you to the community.
“Like I’ve said we’ve been a part of the community for 70 years. We felt like we wanted to give back and support the community with lots of things that are free today.” said Pfeiffer.
The anniversary celebration will end on Sunday with a Good Neighbor 5K that benefits local foodbanks, including Dayton Foodbank and the Franklin Area Community Services.
