DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - A Dayton man's being held on $1 million bond in connection with a double shooting that left one woman dead and another man in critical condition.

Willie Henry Jr., 43, is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on two counts of murder and four counts of felonious assault. Henry was arrested following a shooting on Norman Avenue on Thursday, June 21.

Barbara Goubeaux, 41, was found dead at the scene, police say. Lavar Cottrell, 41, was taken to Miami Valley Hospital where he's still listed in critical condition Monday afternoon. A neighbor called 911 after hearing shots fired, "I just heard the shot and he shot his brother in the kitchen and then his girlfriend went in there and then I heard another shot," she told a dispatcher.

Henry appeared in court Monday afternoon where his bond was set at $1 million.
