MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Police have arrested a teen they say shot and killed a man after the pair met up for a drug deal organized over Facebook.

Paul Dylan Craft, 16, was found hiding on Charles Street in Middletown on Monday morning. He's been charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated murder and tampering with evidence.

Police say they were called on Friday, December 8, to Cherry Street and Lawn Street on a reported shooting. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Stephan Michael Cotter, 23, of Silverton, Ohio. He had been shot in the stomach and was taken to Miami Valley Hospital where he died the next day.

Investigators say Cotter met Craft over Facebook and agreed to come to Middletown to sell marijuana and Xanax to Craft. When Craft got into the car on Pearl Street, investigators say he pulled a gun on Carter and tried to rob him. Cotter put up a fight but police say Craft shot him and ran.

The investigation is ongoing, police are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Hoover at 513-425-7796.
