Police: Celina man on the run after brutally beating wife

    CELINA, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Celina Police are asking the public for help to track down a man they consider armed and dangerous. Mitchell Mullins,43, is on the run after police say he brutally attacked his wife without provocation.

    Police say officers were called at 12:48 a.m. to the Mullins' home and found Jessica Mullins, 38, who was badly beaten. Investigators say the family was working on a puzzle when Mullins attacked his wife, hitting her with closed fists. Police say he kicked his wife to the point where she was no longer conscious, then held her down on the ground and then dragged her around the home.

    Mullins then left the home and is believed to be driving a white Chevrolet Suburban with Ohio license plates GLL4201. Mullins is described as 5'5" tall, 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Police say Mullins is known to have a shaved head, which is covered in tattoos. Police say there is reason to believe Mullins is armed with at least two firearms, the public is advised not to approach him.

    Mullins' wife was taken to the hospital with serious head injuries.
