New kiosks coming to the bike path along the Great Miami Riverway
MIAMI VALLEY, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - 2018 is bringing some new things to the Great Miami Riverway, including new kiosks being installed along the bike path.
The kiosks will point out different historical landmarks and things about the community for bikers, walkers, runners and anyone passing by.
The 99-mile stretch runs from Sidney down to Hamilton.
"It brings all the different messages from all the communities," Elizabeth Connor said. "We have over 500 million dollars in riverfront developments that have happened over the past couple years, so we're making sure that we're tying all of those messages in together."
"We're looking at this similar to a Napa Valley or an Outer Banks or a Smokey Mountains," she continued. "It's the Great Miami Riverway."
They will also be launching a new website in 2018, so that people can check out the kiosks virtually.
