Never forget 9/11 memorial ride honors the lives lost 17 years ago
DAYTON, Ohio (WRGT/WKEF) - A convoy of over a thousand motorcycles and cars made their way across the Miami Valley for the Never Forget 9/11 Memorial ride Sunday morning.
The ride started at the Wright State Nutter Center and went through 10 different communities.
Organizer for the Never Forget 9/11 memorial ride Jeff Cottrell said the ride honors those lives lost from 9/11 as well as the brave men and women in uniform.
“We’re coming to together in honor Chief Doug Knight out of Vandalia, he passed away.” said Cottrell, “We’re here to honor our first responders and our military and to never forget 9/11.”
The ride was designed to show unity 17 years after America’s darkest day.
