Miami Valley Hospital South celebrates $60 million expansion project
CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WRGT/WKEF)- )- Miami Valley Hospital South is expanding to offer additional services to customers.
Premier Health and Miami Valley Hospital South hosted a ribbon cutting and open house to celebrate their $60 million expansion project.
"We're very pleased to have the opportunity to increase the program's capacity to give more people quick access to this quality care close to home." said President at Miami Valley Hospital South Mike Maiberger.
The new expansion will include a Joint and Spine Center, expanded a Sport Medicine Center, operating rooms, pain medicine services and medical offices.
The focus of the expansion will be the Joint and Spine Center at the Centerville campus.
“It’s the first of its kind in the Dayton market and we are so excited that we are the first to be able to do that.” said Chief Operating Officer Joanne Ringer.
At the open house visitors got the chance to enjoy refreshments, activities and even visit with Santa.
Other new additions to the Miami Valley Hospital South will be a gift shop, pharmacy and Chapel.
