COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - A music teacher at Pleasant Run Middle School apologized Monday after sending home a letter with a dress code for an upcoming concert that parents found offensive.

The letter from Steven Reeves called for young men to see a barber and young ladies to see a cosmetologist the night before the show. It also banned mohawks and large afros.

The school district says Reeves' letter did not reflect the views of the district.

A revised letter from Reeves just asks kids to look their best in white shirts and black pants or skirts.
