MASON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - If you've heard a rumor that a ride is closing at Kings Island, it's true.

The park in Mason confirmed Monday that one of the park's 16 roller coasters will close. The park isn't saying yet which coaster is leaving the park.

Rumors started swirling after Halloween Haunt kicked off this weekend. What appears to be a setup for a funeral is at one of the park's new 'graveyard' sites and a sign outside reads:

"The air is eerily calm as we make final preparations for the ill-fated demise of one of our own.

The park says it will reveal which coaster is leaving later this week.
