K-9 Auco ready to report for duty for the Greene County Sheriff's Office (WKEF/WRGT)

GREENE COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - K-9 Auco is ready to get to work helping with drug busts and tracking people down for the Greene County Sheriff's Office.

The 2 1/2 year old pup has been training since birth on how to be a police dog. He was born in Holland and they started training him there, so his handler Deputy William Coe knows commands in both Dutch and English.

They were paired up in October and started working in the field, including helping with a bust of about 91 grams of meth in one stop. Now, the two are ready to start working on their own, tracking for people and evidence as well as working in narcotics.

Auco was given a passport when he came to America to start working, and Coe said he's always wanted to be a K-9 handler. Welcome to the force, Auco!
