Jingle Bell Fun day raises money for students who go hungry
MORAINE, Ohio (WRGT/WKEF)- Children and parents got to get into the Christmas spirit at the first ever Jingle Bell Fun Day in Moraine on Saturday.
Families got to enjoy the bazaar in the morning, an auction during the day and the 1st ever Jingle Bell ball Saturday night.
The all-day event held at the Payne Recreation Center was a fundraiser for Pirate Packs. Pirates Pack is a food assistance organization that serves over 300 kids in West Carrollton School District.
President of Pirates Pack Jon Lewallan said that they hold fundraisers to raise the funds needed to operate Pirate Packs.
“A lot of people want to give during the Christmas season for tax reasons or they just feel that need to give.” said Lewallan.
