UPDATE: The woman killed in the crash has been identified a 55-year-old Jacqueline Clifton.

She was from Dayton, according to the Montgomery County Coroner's Office.

(UPDATE) - I-75 re-opened shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday after a fatal, multi-vehicle crash shut down the highway. It was closed down for more than five hours.

Ohio State Highway Patrol Sergeant Frank Simmons told FOX 45 a woman driving a Toyota Prius was likely at fault. Sgt. Simmons said the woman drove onto the off ramp toward toward West Carrollton, went up a 90 foot hill, drove off the road and got back on the highway in the northbound lane. That's when she hit the camper.

The impact knocked the camper on its side. Another car, a Ford Taurus, was also involved. Troopers said multiple people from those vehicles were transported to Sycamore Hospital and Kettering Hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries were not released.

The driver of the Prius was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sgt. Simmons said investigators are still trying to determine why this crash happened. At this point, speed is being investigated as a possible factor. They're also trying to determine if the driver was having a medical episode or was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash.

All the lanes of northbound are closed between State Route 725 and Dixie Highway, as well as the left lane of I-75 SB between Dryden and Dixie.

Multiple people were reportedly injured in this crash. We're working with officials on scene to find our more and will bring you the latest on air and online.
