The Vectren Dayton Air Show will take off in less than 24 hours.

Families gathered for a preview of the excitement at this evening's Air Show parade.

Sun is just what Roger Doctor had ordered for Friday's parade.

“We had nice sunshine today, whatever water or dampness that was in the lots across the street has pretty much gone completely,” said Roger Doctor, Air Show Public Safety Director.

He says that means the show will stick to their original parking plan.

But new this year are large, electronic signs along North Dixie Drive. The signs will direct you to various parking lots.

The P-Lot for chalet ticket holders is right across from the street from the main entrance.

“The general admission parking will be right next to that where they'll be waking across Dixie with the help of the Vandalia Police Department," said Doctor.

The handicap parking lot is all the way through the front and just to the right of the main entrance.

Organizers say they've planned for just about everything.

"We have golf carts out there that are for handicap so they'll be bringing people up, but those that are able to walk right in are very close to the entrance,” said Doctor.
