BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - The Gap store at the Greene is closing its doors.
An employee at the store was not able to release many details but did say the store is slated to close at the end of January in 2019.
News of the closure comes after the retailer announced in November that it was considering closing hundreds of stores across the country. Fortune reports the CEO of Gap Inc., Art Peck, was considering closing hundreds of under-performing stores, saying the stores "likely don't fit our vision for the future of Gap brand specialty store."
Gap has more than 3,000 stores worldwide.
