HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Funeral arrangements have been made for a fallen Sergeant with the Huber Heights Police department.

Sergeant Frank Crouse had been with the department since June of 2001 and was also a U.S. Army veteran. According to the department, a calling will be held at Kindred Funeral Home on Union Boulevard in Englewood on Sunday, December 10 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held the following day, Monday, December 11, at Kindred Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. After the funeral service, an Internment with military honors will be held at Polk Grove Cemetery on US 40 in Butler Township.

There will be units from all police divisions and public safety divisions to participate in a procession.

The department announced Sgt. Crouse's death earlier this week, saying he was "great friend to many." The department says they'll miss Sgt. Crouse and his "sense of humor and ability to make people smile." Officers with Huber Heights police are wearing a mourning band over their badge and all flags are flying at half-staff until he is laid to rest.
