DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - A former nurse for Kettering Medical Center remains out of jail after she's accused of stealing pain medication while on the job.

Samantha Moyer, 29, of Vandalia, was arraigned Tuesday morning. Moyer was indicted on December 3 on two counts of Tampering with Drugs and five count of Theft of Drugs.

Investigators with the State Board of Pharmacy say the thefts happened over the course of several months. Moyer is accused of taking syringes with pain medication in them and replacing the medication with saline. Investigators say Moyer would keep the medication for her own use.
