DARKE COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - More than a dozen people are in jail this morning after a drug round-up in Darke County.
The sheriff's office says deputies served warrants to eight people at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday indicted for felony drug trafficking. The indictments are the result of an investigation that's been ongoing for six months, the sheriff's office said. More than 15 people have been indicted for trafficking in fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana.
According to the sheriff's office, five people the people were already in jail when the search warrants were issued. So far 13 people are now in jail, but the sheriff's office says arrests will continue until everyone who was indicted has been found.
