No one injured after fire sparks on roof of Beavercreek Walmart
UPDATE: Officials said they aren't sure when a Walmart in Beavercreek will open after a fire sparked on the rood Wednesday afternoon.
They told FOX 45 they're in an 'assessment phase', and are working on getting approval from the county for the store to reopen.
UPDATE: Officials with the Beavercreek Fire Department said they're investigating what sparked a fire on the roof Wednesday.
The fire reportedly involved solar panels and some piping, but the extent of the damage was not immediately available. DP&L and Vectren were both called out to evaluate the damage, along with a county building official, to evaluate the building and determine if they could reopen or how long they would have to stay closed.
No one was injured in the incident. Crews responded from Riverside, Fairborn and Wright-Patt to help with the incident.
BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Beavercreek dispatchers confirmed crews were responding to a fire at the Walmart on Pentagon Boulevard Wednesday afternoon.
No other information was immediately available, other than the fact that it is an active scene.
