CLINTON COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Clinton County residents spent Friday cleaning up after severe storms left a trail of damage behind.
Tammy May lives on a farm just north of Blanchester, close to Cowan Lake State Park. A barn housing farm tractors and other equipment was taken down by the wind, leaving them to clean up.
She told ABC 22/FOX 45 that she's just thankful no one was hurt, and that it could have been worse.
"We're waiting on the insurance adjuster and they're telling us it will be at least 2 days because of tornadoes in Alabama," May said. "We'll be picking up the pieces, literally."
She added that they'll need to figure out what can be repaired and what needs to be replaced before the planting season begins in about 4 weeks.
