CareFlight, multiple medics called to serious crash in Huber Heights (WKEF/WRGT)

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - The driver of an ice cream truck has been taken to the hospital by CareFlight after a serious crash involving another car in Huber Heights.

The crash was called in shortly before 1:00 p.m. at Bellefontaine Road and Artz Road. CareFlight and four medics were called to the scene.

Police say the vehicles were driving on Bellefontaine road, one traveling northbound, the other southbound, when one crossed the center lane. It's unclear at this point which vehicle crossed the lane.

According to police, an adult male and two children were in the other car involved in the crash. All three of the passengers were taken to the hospital by ambulance, their conditions have not yet been released.
