Car hits a pole in Jefferson Township, Manning and Weaver road temporarily closed
JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WRGT/WKEF)- The Montgomery County Sheriff Department responded to the scene of a crash where a car ran into a pole.
Sgt. Johnson said that a blue Volkswagen hit a pole at the corner of Manning Road and Weaver Road Thursday evening.
Manning Road and Weaver Road are temporarily shut down until Police can clean up the scene.
The Montgomery County Sheriff Jefferson Township division responded to the scene, along with the Moraine Fire Department and DP&L, to extract the driver and the passenger of the vehicle.
The Sheriff's Department said there are possible power lines down that may cause outages for those residents in that area.
The driver of the vehicle is not hurt and the passenger was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of this accident is still under investigation.
