Butler Twp proposes removing land from JEDD near the airport
DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) – Butler Township officials made a case at Dayton City Commission Wednesday night to remove some land from the Joint Economic Development District (JEDD) near the airport.
The argument was made that If it is not removed from the JEDD, the additional income tax would keep developers from looking at the land.
The current JEDD covers about 900 acers near the airport, and could be prime real estate for people who want to grow their businesses near the crossroads of America.
Dayton and Butler Township both have to approve the proposal.
