3 arrested in Preble Co after OSP finds more than $12K worth of drugs during traffic stop

PREBLE COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Three West Virginia men have been arrested after troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol busted them with more than $12,000 worth of drugs.

Troopers pulled the men over on Interstate 70 in Preble County on June 5 for an improper lane change.

While the trooper was talking with the men, the trooper smelled burnt marijuana and searched the vehicle. Inside, troopers say they found a plastic bag of marijuana roaches, two evape pens with THC oil, more than 1 pound of marijuana, 2 ounces of THC edibles and a half-pound of solid hashish inside jars.

The driver of the Dodge Ram, Devon Young, 20, of Fairmont, West Virginia, and two passengers, Zeb Young, 23, and Nathaniel Ware, 24, of Elkins, West Virginia, have all been charged with possession of hashish, possession of marijuana and criminal tools, and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were all arrested and booked into the Preble County Jail.
