2 arrested after OSP seizes hundreds of pills in traffic stop in Franklin
FRANKLIN, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Two people from Michigan face drug charges after troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol say they found more than 900 ecstasy pills and nearly 300 hydrocodone polls inside their vehicle during a traffic stop in Franklin.
Troopers stopped Dennis Pinckey, 25, and Kierra Boone, 20, of Detroit, on May 15 just after 10:30 a.m. Troopers say they stopped the pair for speeding on I-75 near milepost 38. They then searched their vehicle and that's when they say they found the drugs.
Pinckey and Boone are now both in custody at the Warren County Jail on charges of possession and trafficking in drugs. If convicted, the two could each face up to 36 years in prison.
OSP encourages residents to call #677 to report drug activity and dangerous or impaired driving.
