18 year old indicted on multiple charges for Huber Heights AT&T robbery
DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - The 18 year old who was indicted in connection with the armed robbery of a Huber Heights AT&T store has been released on Electronic Home Detention after he was indicted Friday.
Caleb Johnson was one of the seven people who were arrested in connection with the robbery, and the other six defendants were between the age of 15 and 17.
Huber Heights Police responded to the robbery February 1, but before they could arrive at the scene, they got information that the suspects were fleeing in a vehicle. They were able to locate the vehicle quickly, but it crashed into multiple other vehicles before the suspects bailed. Huber Heights schools were placed on lockdown as police searched for the suspects in the area.
Johnson was indicted on two counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, one count of kidnapping and one count improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
He is set to be arraigned February 13.
