Grant Me Hope: Von'cells
My name is Von'celis. I am sixteen years old. I am in 11th grade.
When I am outside I like to play basketball or play football. Sometimes just sit out there to eat.
My favorite food is sticky rice and ground beef. That's nice.
I would describe myself as a very creative person.
For fun I like to draw. I can draw anything I see.
Something else I like to do for fun: Parkour. It's like free-running. It's like doing flips and stuff off the ground, sometimes buildings.
In school my favorite subject is science, not counting art.
If I could learn to do anything it would be work with clay. I know how to, just not as good as others, and I really want to learn how to work with it.
When I grow up I want to be a world-known artist; an artist that gets famous alive instead of dead.
I want to make my own art shop. Laminate them. Make copies. Sell it, cause that will be history right there. Yeah. It's going to be a lot of work though, because I got to get my own building and stuff, but it's a good process.
Alright, some of the art I do is like cartoons. This one right here will be, it's a cartoon version of me. This is a Chrysler 300 in dots. Yeah. It took a lot of time. It took about six weeks.
If I could have one wish it would be to wish for more wishes.
If I won the lottery I would look at my mom for a little bit, help her out, and if there was enough money for me I would get me some art stuff, or games or something like that.
Adoption to me is some people, like just a person out there, who realize what other people is going through and want to care for them and help them out through the process.
If you have questions about adoption or foster care, Montgomery County Children Services holds a monthly informational meeting at the Haines Children's Center, 3304 N. Main St. Dayton.
