Precipitation will be a mix variety when it first arrives but location is key to determine how much snow we will receive. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 7AM Monday for counties north of I-70. The rain snow line will be right through Dayton which makes the forecast tricky. Right now if nothing changes expect mainly snow to north this afternoon and rain south. All precipitation should be snow by 6 to 8PM at the latest. Right now we have north of I-70 receiving 2-5" and south getting rain changing to snow and 1-3".
Snow will end Early Monday morning so watch for slick spots during Monday morning's commute. We'll keep mostly cloudy skies around in the afternoon with highs close to 30. We'll see similar temperatures on Tuesday but we'll get a little more sunshine. Wednesday the sun returns and we'll see near average highs in the mid-30s. Thursday will climb into the upper 30s under mostly cloudy skies. By Friday we're colder with partly cloudy skies.
