Dayton is home.
I am beyond excited to have the privilege to report in the community that raised me!
I grew up in Vandalia, the Crossroads of America. I was raised on a steady diet of Marion’s Pizza and Jim’s Donuts. Growing up, I spent many days performing in productions at Butler High School, Vandalia Youth Theatre and Muse Machine.
But my true passion is reporting, so I went to Kent State University and graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism. I was lucky to intern in Youngstown, Dayton and the Cleveland area.
After school, I grabbed a snow shovel and traveled north to Petoskey, Michigan. I was the bureau reporter for 7&4 News in Traverse City. Northern Michigan holds a very special place in my heart. I met my wife Megan there and we are now happily married!
I traded in the snow for tornadoes, making my next stop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Spending two years reporting at KJRH.
After being away for a few years, I realized that I missed my family. So, here we are!
Now that I’m back, you’ll likely see me hanging around town. I love local breweries and coffee shops. You may also spot me walking my dog Cooper, he loves to take me on adventures.
Don’t hesitate to say hi and if you have a story idea shoot me a message on Facebook or Twitter.
It feels great to be back!
