Top 22 - 2016: Carlisle's Ridge Reed

CARLISLE -- Carlisle senior running back Ridge Reed continues to churn out yards on the ground for the Indians' offense.

As a sophomore Reed racked up 1,100 yards on the ground with 18 touchdowns.

In 2015 not only did his numbers improve but the team's season did as well.

His 1,825 yards and 19 touchdowns helped lead Carlisle to the program's first playoff appearance since 2010.

For his senior season Reed is looking for even more for his team, including a return to the postseason but he's not concerned with individual stats even though it could help his efforts to play at the next level.

Reed is being recruited by teams like Air Force, Youngstown State and Eastern Kentucky but right now they're waiting to see what he can do as a senior before they extend an offer.

The 6'0" 200lb Reed looks the part of the workhorse running back and head coach Mike Brown raves about the gains Reed has achieved in the gym and beyond and can't wait to have one more season with the standout running back and linebacker.
