Baseball America ranks Reds prospect No. 1 at his position
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - As Spring Training is underway for the Reds the 2017 season doesn't provide much hope at competing for the playoffs, but the team has a few good players to begin building around and quality help may soon be on the way.
Baseball America has listed 2016 first-round draft pick Nick Senzel as the No. 1 third base prospect among Minor League players.
Senzel, who played in college at Tennessee, hit .329 with an on-base percentage of .415 and a slugging percentage of .567 in 210 at bats and 251 plate appearances for Class A Dayton last season after being drafted in June. He also had seven homers, 36 RBI, 38 runs scored and 15 stolen bases.
