Bonsu takes a step toward his goal by accepting a GA coaching position at Bowling Green
DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - A former Dayton Flyer with big dreams continued to get closer to seeing those come true June 16.
Jeremiah Bonsu had been the team's manager, before working his way up to a walk-on. He never scored a point while on the court for UD, but he's ready to inspire another generation.
He accepted a position as a graduate assistant coach at Bowling Green, getting one step closer to his career goal of being a college basketball head coach, and his teammates took to Twitter to pass on their congratulations.
Throughout his time in Dayton, Bonsu only logged one minute of play, but his story made him a household name in the Miami Valley.
He will move on to coach at Bowling Green as part of the winningest senior class in Flyer history.
