Question of the Day

Should Ohio allow recreational sales of marijuana?

78.46% YES
21.53% NO

Comment: If people want it, they are going to buy it whether legal or not. I think they should legalize it and tax it. from Ohio by Terry

Comment: As someone that lives in chronic pain, I would like to have a legal alternative to pain pills..At least to be able to try it once to see if it makes a difference for me..I am drug tested at work, so likely wouldn't try it. Just knowing that their IS an alternative out there would be nice from Kettering, OH by Courtney

Comment: And they need to go further than that and just make it legal here in Ohio too. I would love to partake to ease the pain I deal with daily. from Kettering/Ohio by Sue Long

Comment: And Ohio needs to step up and make it legal too! from Kettering/Ohio by Sue

Comment: Tax it from Jackson center oh by Greg

Comment: Marijuana should be made nation wide for any adult 18 years of age or above. from Naples, FL by Rod

Comment: Its time to stop wasting money fighting it when it could be a source of revenue. from Dayton by AJ

Comment: It'll probably help with taxes. from Springfield Ohio by abby

Comment: it has been around since the beginning of time no one has ever died from it overdosed on it and it is safe to drive when high, none of this is true of alcohol but yet alcohol is legal pot should be legal too it also has medical benefits which is why I use it and have for about 1o7 years now it helps where strong pain pills does not help why deny me my meds that is crazy and inhumane. from Dayton, Ohio by allie

Comment: God made dope man made beer who do you trust! from Celina by Stony

Comment: Absolutely not! Not until they can establish and devise a way to test for a "legal limit". Marijuana users are so quick to say that it's no more dangerous than alcohol, so let's make sure we put the same stipulations/restrictions on it as we have for alcohol. Our roads are already dangerous enough! from Springfield, Ohio by Airica

Comment: Maybe if the penalties for impaired vehicle operation is quadrupled and prostitution is non-prosecutable when under the influence, I might agree. from Dayton OH by Bear
