2 kids, 5 dogs removed from Clayton home with 'unsanitary' conditions
CLAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Two kids and five dogs were removed from a house after Clayton Police responded to perform a welfare check and found the residence to be unfit for people to live there.
Officers said when they responded to the residence on Prospect Avenue, it was unsanitary, but did not give any further details. Children's Services took custody of the kids, and Animal Resource Center officials said the dogs, mostly beagle/hound mixes, that were removed appeared to be in good condition.
The only adult who lived in the home, 48-year-old Ellen Fogle, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on Child Endangerment charges.
