New judge sworn into Montgomery County Common Pleas court
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) – A new face will be hearing cases in Montgomery County soon.
Judge Erik Blaine was sworn into Montgomery County common pleas court the afternoon of May 18 after being appointed by Gov. John Kasich.
“As with any new position, there are new opportunities and new things to learn,” Blaine said. “I look forward to doing so. We have a phenomenal court, phenomenal bench of judges and magistrates and staff.”
Prior to his appointment, Blaine served as an attorney for Wright and Shulte, and had been an assistant prosecutor in Shelby County.
