Longtime Centerville staple off State Route 48 has been demolished
CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) – A longtime staple off State Route 48 in Centerville is now a pile of rubble.
The shopping center next to Elsa’s Bar and Grill was demolished in order to build a new and bigger complex.
The manager of Elsa’s told FOX 45 that the demolition was a bitter sweet moment.
“It’s weird. It’s sad,” Julie Hemmert said. “A lot of customers come in and they’re like ‘Oh my god I feel like a piece of history is gone’. But I’s also gonna be neat. Something new.”
Stay tuned for the latest on the progress of the new development.
