Local groomer making sure pets impacted by Irma are getting help
MIAMI TWP, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) – With all the destruction from Hurricane Irma in Florida, a local business is making sure that pets in the state are also getting the help they need.
Pawsitively Perfect Grooming from Miami Township sent three staff members to Florida to help with animal rescue and disaster relief.
They will be starting their work around the St. Augustine area.
“The girls decided that, out of the kindness of their hearts, that they would go ahead and throw something together and get down there,” Drian Brunett said, “and just help out anybody they could as far as either stray animals, help with relief, clean up; anything like that.”
They currently have enough supplies and funds to hopefully carry them through Friday, September 15, but if you would like to donate money or supplies, you can stop by their business on Springboro Pike or call 937-867-2887.
