Hundreds of people dance for good cause at Austin Landing
MIAMI TWP, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) – Hundreds of people turned out at a unique fundraiser at Austin Landing May 18.
The annual YWCA Zumbathon got the crowd moving, as FOX 45’s Elyse Coulter and Erik Elken served as emcees for the event.
All the money raised goes to help eliminate racism and empower women. But some people may be wondering: why Zumba?
“Anybody can Zumba,” special events manager for the YWCA Dayton Audrey Starr said. “You don’t have to have a certain skillset. You don’t have to have any abilities; you don’t even have to know how to dance. You just come out and have fun.”
His was the third year people have come out and danced for the cause.
