Body of teen missing in the Little Miami River found
UPDATE - Fox 45's Shavon Anderson spoke with Michelle Winston, an aunt who confirms the teen is her nephew D'James Moore.
"They found him, and now we have closure," Winston said.
Winston said the family moved to the area last year, and Moore was starting to settle into the community. She said he was happy and fun-loving, with a tight-knit family.
"He knew how to swim, but you can't, you cannot defeat mother nature when it's that high," she said.
They plan to have funeral services in Dayton.
UPDATE - A member of the Wright-Patt water rescue crew confirms to FOX 45's Shavon Anderson the body of a teen who went missing in the Little Miami River has been found.
The search resumed Wednesday morning after crews spent several hours searching for the teen Tuesday night, June 20.
The teen was reportedly hanging out in an area called the rope swing, a popular spot for hangouts near the river. Witnesses say the teen tried to swim across the river but began to struggle. A friend jumped in to help but we're told they started floating downstream and began to panic. The friend swam back to shore.

UPDATE - Crews have returned to the Little Miami River to continue the search for a missing teenager who was last seen swimming in the river Tuesday, June 20.
BELLBROOK, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Crews spent about 4 hours searching the water of the Little Miami for a missing teenager June 20.
FOX 45's Nathan Edwards spoke with a teenager on scene who said a group of friends were hanging out off Washington Mill Road in the Little Miami, and one 17 year old went under water and never came back up.
They were reportedly hanging out in an area called the rope swing, which is a popular spot for hangouts near the river.
The teen reportedly tried to swim to the other side of the river but started to struggle. One friend did jump in to try and help him, but they both started floating downstream and started to panic. The friend then swam back to shore, but the teen went underwater.
The search is expected to resume in the morning.
