Girl Scouts capitalize on St. Patrick's Day in Dayton
DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) – A couple of Girl Scouts from Fairmont High School saw an opportunity with St. Patrick’s Day and decided to capitalize on it.
The girls set up right outside Flanagan’s Bar to sell their delicious treats to the people heading into the bars – or heading home from them.
They told FOX 45’s Shavon Anderson they’ve set up once before on a big holiday and decided to do it again. In their stack, the girls have 70 boxes at a time, which they then fill back up.
“Well I Don’t know if we’re going to go all night, cause I need to go to bed at some point unlike these people,” Girl Scout Gwendolyn Peters said, “but we are going to be out here until they’re all gone hopefully.”
Gwendolyn also said she got the idea from her mom and her great leadership.
