Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade makes special stop in the Miami Valley
BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) – Brian Kilmeade from the morning show Fox & Friends stopped at The Greene for a special book signing Thursday night.
His new book is titled ‘Andrew Jackson and the Miracle of New Orleans’. It’s set during the War of 1812, and details how Major General Andrew Jackson convinced then President Madison to assemble a coalition of militiamen, French-speaking Louisianans, Indians, freed slaves and even some pirates to defeat the British.
When FOX 45 asked him why visit Dayton, his answer was simple.
“You can this, this is middle America, red, white and blue,” Kilmeade said, “and they’re very patriotic and they’re passionate about the country and they’re passionate about their politics. If you can present history where there is no politics, just one point of view, and that’s our point of view, I found that they’re very receptive.”
The book is a follow up to his best-seller ‘Andrew Jackson and the Tripoli Pirates’.
Kilmeade is also set to be on FOX 45 in the Morning Friday. You can check out his interview at 7:15.
