FOX 45 rides along with 445th as it delivers relief from Hurricane Irma in Florida
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE (WKEF/WRGT) - Crews from the Miami Valley are heading down to Florida to offer relief to residents who've been devastated by Hurricane Irma.
The Air Force Reserve's 445th Airlift Wing C-17 Globemaster III is will stop at five bases today, picking up supplies that will help in the recovery effort.
The first stop of the day was to McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey. FOX 45's Christian Hauser is on-board the flight and says the next stop will be at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.
Crews also stopped in Atlanta to add more supplies, 2 forklifts and an entire kitchen to transport down to help with hurricane relief.
Homestead ARB in Miami They're set to take all the supplies to Homestead Air Reserve Base in Miami, where the supplies will be distributed to aide residents affected by Hurricane Irma.
