Former Miamisburg teacher pleads 'not guilty' to charges of sexual misconduct
DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - A former Miamisburg Middle School teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old student has pleaded 'not guilty.'
Jessica Langford, 32, of Centerville appeared in Montgomery County Common Pleas court Tuesday morning, November 21. The alleged sexual misconduct took place during the last week of school, authorities say, on May 23, 2017. Langford was put on administrative leave and she then resigned. The former teacher was indicted a week ago today, November 14, on three counts of Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor and three counts of Sexual Battery as a teacher.
Langford was processed into jail and then released on her own recognizance. Her next court date has not yet been set.
