KETTERING, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Police have arrested a woman they say was driving drunk and caused a crash that ended with a car slamming into a home in Kettering.

Cecelia Periman, 27, of Kettering was arrested for OVI after the crash on Bigger and East David Roads around 1:15 a.m., October 12. Police say Periman was driving a white SUV when she hit another car, causing it to lose control and crash into a house. In a call to 911, a man says he spoke with the homeowners and told the dispatcher, "oh yeah, they said it's about 4 feet into their house."

The driver of the car that crashed into the house was trapped in the vehicle and later taken to Kettering Hospital with severe, but not life-threatening injuries, police say.
