Man taken into custody after police surround Dayton home

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - A man has been taken into custody police say after officers surrounded a home Friday morning in Dayton.

Police say they were first called to the home on Salem Avenue at Ravenwood after people reported hearing a man and woman fighting. Officers say they knew the man living there had a warrant for "weapons under disability," which is what prompted them to surround the house. When crews arrived at the scene, the man's brother was also there, police say he was able to call his phone and talk him out of the house.

We're told the man was taken into custody for the warrant and for questioning. Police say a woman and a baby were at the home at the time of the man's arrest.
